Measuring 5.5 x 8.5 inches, with 464 pages and 438 illustrations, charts and specifications it would be difficult to imagine that a more complete manual exists for these early Volvo automobiles. Originally published by Floyd Clymer this is a faithful reproduction of the 1964 publication. It includes complete technical data, service and maintenance information and comprehensive detailed instructions for the repair and overhaul of all major and minor mechanical and electrical components, making it an invaluable resource for collectors and restorers of these classic automobiles. There are separate sections that deal with the repair and overhaul procedures for the engine, fuel system, carburetors, ignition system, clutch, transmission, overdrive, drive shaft, rear axle, suspension, steering and brakes, plus a detailed electrical section including wiring diagrams. There is a comprehensive chapter on routine service, maintenance and tune ups that also includes detailed specification charts.
