This manual covers the 1967 to 1969 200cc T200 twin-cylinder two-stroke series. A compilation of three factory publications it includes (1) the factory T200 'Service Guide' and (2) the T200/TC200 'Parts Catalogue' and (3) the T20 'Service Guide' for the reason explained below.

THE 'CONNECTION' BETWEEN THE SUZUKI T200 (1967-69) AND THE T20 (1965-67)

The factory issued Suzuki T200 'Service Guide' does not include any maintenance or repair information as the contents focus entirely on a comparison of the technical differences between the T200 and the T20.

However, in the foreword of the T200 'Service Guide' the factory notes that many of the T200 parts are interchangeable with those of the T20 and includes the following statement, "The information in this publication, when used with the T20 'Service Guide', provides the necessary information for understanding and servicing the T200".

Consequently, in order to provide a comprehensive manual for the T200 the factory intended the T20 'Service Guide' to be used in conjunction with the T200 'Service Guide', with the T20 guide providing maintenance and repair data and the T200 guide providing the technical data.

Therefore, any workshop manual for the T200 series would be incomplete without the inclusion of both the T200 and the T20 'Service Guides' and T200 owners are encouraged to exercise caution when purchasing a T200 workshop manual and confirm that both 'Service Guides' are included. Unfortunately, many of the reprints found on internet websites are from 'bedroom sellers' at enticingly low prices by individuals that really have no idea what they are selling. Many are nothing more than poor quality comb-bound or ring-bound photocopies that are scanned and printed complete with greasy pages and thumbprints and, as such, are deceptively described as 'pre-owned', 'used' or even 'refurbished'. In addition, they are often advertised for the incorrect series and/or model years.
