YAMAHA 1963-1972 YG1, YG1-K, YGS-1, MG1-T, YG5-T, G5S, G6S, G6SB & G7S WORKSHOP MANUAL
Author: Floyd Clymer
ISBN: 9781588503336
VP Book ID: 20220
Pages: 200
Dimensions: 8.25" x 10.75"
Description:
200 pages with more than 400 illustrations, diagrams and charts, size 8.250 x 10.750 inches. The publications reproduced in this manual are as follows: (1) A Yamaha factory 'Service Manual' for the YG1, YG1-K & YGS-1 (2) A Floyd Clymer 'Workshop Manual' for the YTG5-T, G5S, G6S, & G6SB and (3) A Yamaha factory 'Service Manual' for the G7S. The combination of these 3 publications provides a comprehensive workshop manual for this series of motorcycles.
As there are significant similarities between each of these various models, the owner is encouraged to review the appropriate section in all three of the included manuals prior to commencing any maintenance or repair procedure. This suggestion is based on the fact that the combination of the data from those three different publications will provide a much better detailed overview of the task at hand.
As the 1963-1965 MG1-T was basically a 'step through' version of the original YG series, this manual will also be of use to owners of that model.
Also, please note that the text in the original Yamaha publications was translated from Japanese into English. Consequently, some of the phrasing, grammar, punctuation and word usage may be subtly different from that commonly used in the English language. However the information, as presented, is readily understandable. In addition, while we have done our best to identify any anomalies, errors and incorrect spelling that may have occurred during the original translation process, we are certain that we will have missed one or two and we request your indulgence in ignoring them.
VelocePress.com has been publishing reprints of motorcycle and automobile manuals since 2003 and our publications have earned excellent reviews worldwide so you can be assured you are purchasing a quality product. We encourage you to exercise caution when purchasing a manual for your motorcycle or automobile as many of the reprints found on internet websites are from 'bedroom sellers' at enticingly low prices by individuals that really have no idea what they are selling. Many are nothing more than poor quality comb-bound or ring-bound photocopies that are scanned and printed complete with greasy pages and thumbprints and, as such, are deceptively described as 'pre-owned', 'used' or even 'refurbished'. In addition, they are often advertised for the incorrect series and/or model years.
